This is a very informative and easy to read book. I would recommend it highly for anyone who needs to learn about this complicated disease.
I purchased this for my niece who was just diagnosed with scleroderma and her medical team were not educating her as to the long term affects and prognosis associated with this disease. After reading the book, she was able to quiz her physicians on those points she needed clarified and has been very satisfied with this book's comprehensive overview for the newly diagnosed scleroderma patient. Highly recommend this book.

This book was not helpful to me. There was very little medical information and also very little first-hand patient information. For instance, I found a white bump on my arm and wondered if it was calcinosis, this book had no information regarding calcinosis other than it is white bumps. I do not recommend this book. There is nothing in the book that can not be found on the internet, save your money.

I would have rated it higher, but I had just finished reading "The Scleroderma Book". It is well written, but not quite as straight-forward in its approach as I might like.
