I just received this book the other day but so far so good. The pictures of tractors in the book are nice and show different scenes of tractors working on the farm. Each page is thick cardboard material that is easy for little hands to turn. I think this will be become my toddler’s favorite book.My only criticism is the actual shape of the book. I don’t think the book looks quite like it does in the picture online. From the online picture I thought just the top half of the book will be shaped like the tractor profile, but the book I received the first pages are cut around the tractor tires too. Not a big deal, but I wanted to point out the design since it wasn’t obvious to me online. This is the first 'Shaped Board Books' I’ve ordered so maybe they’re all like that, but my toddler loves the book just fine.
Excellent resource. I have several tractor history books, and this one is the best. Lots of pages. Lots of information. Lots of pictures. The only thing I don't like (and this is not the only book that does this) is: why would a bloomin' photo reference book print pictures over the gutter! Many of the tractors cannot truly be visualized because of being split in half at the middle and partially consumed by binding. For those you'd have to do a web search or something -- which you should NOT have to do when you pay for such a fine book. But otherwise, it's great.
Arrived torn and battered but my grandson was staying with me and I needed a book to read! I would have returned it but we used it this weekend! Rey disappointed in the condition it was received in but my grandson loved the story and pictures. I just taped it up and we just read it over and over.
My grandson loves his new tractor book. I love all the "touch and feel" books as all my grandkids really are able to get involved while I'm reading the book and I think it teaches them about texture and helps them understand the concept. Great purchase.
Kiddo loves tractors, and mom loves that for once this tractor is red, not green if you know what I mean! The only reason I gave it four stars is that my kid quickly over bends the pages and causes wear/tears in the inside binding. Nothing that some packing take in the folds doesn't cover.
I have other touch and feel books and the quality of the "touchable" items on this one isn't quite as good as the other books I have.
Fun book that our 2 year “farmer†loves looking through. He is learning a lot and loves the vibrant pictures that go with. It is very well designed book and the shape makes it that much more interesting for young kids.
My son LOVES tractors & BEYOND loves this book! He's entranced every time he turns each page! It's both interesting and educational!!
