This is a great story for students anywhere from 2nd-4th grade. If you are reading it to younger kids, you might want to skip around a little bit. Overall, this is a really captivating story for kids to learn about the states of matter. My students loved it and were totally engaged. I've strung up a spruce topped Lanikai tenor ukulele in low G using a Worth brown low G string. I've enjoyed collecting folk songs to play and sing using this instrument. I found this book interesting in giving a history of folk and bluegrass music. I also discovered new songs I hadn't been aware of before. I use Google to search for more chords and verses and come up with very nice versions of the songs. This book was worth every penny and even gives just enough music theory to be helpful but not overwhelming. Highly recommended!

Great book. Shows all the chords and if you are a learning guitar or banjo player, it's invaluable. But the one with the cd also, so you can hear the chords if you are unfamiliar with reading music. I will purchase all matrial from this author! HIGHLY recommended. Easy to read, easy to follow.! From a novice player!

Erbsen's books are always a good read. Nice little treasure that is full of good music.

This is a very good book about the history of bluegrass. It has relatively small print and pages (9 inches by 6 inches) which does not make it very easy to use in a music stand. The book has index of three pages of musicians and one page of songs. Good job Wayne.

Wayne has truly lived it and it's always good to read and use his books and techniques. I especially love his humor, it is true Southern humor.

Gift for my wife, the musician. She says this is fabulous both from the musical-history perspective and the personalities.

I ordered this for my mother, and she can't put this book down. She said that any of David Jeremiah's writings are easily understandable to even a novice.

This is the first time I have read a book of David Jeremiah. I think I have seen him preach on Television at my parent's place when I was on holidays one Sunday morning.This is a very well researched book, that is easy to read, and not too complicated to follow. It is not dry or overly theological like some books tend to be and I have found what I have read so far to be very engaging and the book is a real page turner.I love the subject of Revelations and I find that many of the people who write a lot of them have really differing ideas and a lot of opinion. It is refreshing to see an author do a lot of research and find an amazing amount of quotes to back up what he is saying, yet at the same time be engaging and not dry.I find that at 20% of a book read, that I have already decided whether to shelve a book, or to continue reading in a second session and this will be a book that I read right to its end. As a write myself, I am so impressed with the simplicity of the authors writing, and the subjects that he covers extensively, and yet dare I say it again in an engaging way that is not dry at all.The way he opens each topic up and uses stories, Bible verses and quotes to back up everything he says is the skill of a master communicator.I recommend this book to youMatthew Robert PayneAuthor of Optimistic Visions of Revelation: The End Times Church, Signs of the Times, The Two Witnesses, and the 144,000 and 18 other Christian books on Amazon

David Jeremiah has written an insightful book that answers questions many people are asking today. He deals with biblical prophecy and eschatology in understandable terms that are thoroughly foot-noted. I recommend this book to both secular and Christian readers who are interested in understanding the times in which we are living.

I'm disappointed to see that Dr. Jeremiah is among the seeming majority of pastors who are ignorant of Islam to the point of believing that ISIS is a "radicalized version" of Islam. Islam itself is "radical". ISIS is the orthodox, fundamentalist version of Islam. ISIS is not a radical perversion of Islam. ISIS is Islam as Mohammad, the Muslim role model, practiced and promoted and that the majority of Islamic leaders throughout the 1,400 years of Islamic history have taught.Dr. Jeremiah relies on Rabbi Shalom Lewis to characterize Islam: "...one billion Muslims...5% are committed Islamists...50 million Koran-waving, Allah Akbar-howling Muslim murderers out there planning to slit our throats, blow us up or forcibly convert us."Aside from the fact there there are now 1.6 billion Muslims in the world and 80 million throat slitters, we should ask: What about the other 95%?Yes, what about the other 950 million? Or more accurately, the other 1.52 billion Muslims. They profess to follow the same Muhammad, the same Qur'an, the same Hadith that motivates ISIS and the "mere" 5%. Who will they follow if the SHTF? Who are they cheering for in the background, or financially, or legally or politically? They may appear to be "moderate" Muslims at the moment. But how many "moderates" turned out being one of the so-called "5%?" And these numbers don't even count the potential for Muslim recruits that our jails are known for spawning.Oh, and David, quit using the knee-jerk and misleading expression "radical Islam." Islam is radical. There is no "non-radical Islam." That is a figment of Pollyannas like Zudhi Jasser and Karen Armstrong.Neither this nation nor Christianity will prevail as long as our leaders, national and Christian, continue to deny the truth of Islam, its doctrine, goals, and methods.

I sometimes felt isolated when it came to reading the bible and then looking up at the news and seeing the parallels and then I found this book. Then I discovered Turning Points and the best minster I ever listened to. Unfortunately he is in San Diego but thanks to modern technology I can listen to him anywhere and anytime. I'm a history buff, but the stories he pulls from the past are none I had heard. His knowledge base of the bible is unmatched in my opinion. He brings past events, the modern nightmare of the world and the bible all together. You can't put it down. After your done you don't feel scared because you know where your salvation lies. It just feels better when you know someone older and wiser than you sees what you see. Now the book will make the round of a small circle of my Christian friends.

This book answers many questions people have about the troubling times we live in. For me it is important to trust the words of the author when I read a book. This text is based on Biblical Truths and is very clearly stated. It can bring peace to a troubled heart. Enjoy!

Very enlightening. Dr. Jeremiah explains how God interacted with his people, the Israelites. He explains how the rise of terrorism evolved and the impact it has on end times, Israel, and all believers. He discusses what Christians need to do during these difficult times.

This book took an insightful look at what is going on in our world today. Dr. Jeremiah explains in detail our current situation in our Nation. He explains what is coming in the future and the great assurance we have as believers that God is most gracious and merciful to those who believe. If you don't know Christ as your Lord I still recommend the book there's a chapter in the book that speaks to you as well.
