If you have never used elements this book may help.I found the chapter 2 Taking Pictures a waste of space. No mention of settings for raw or fine jpeg as important.In fact no mention of raw at all anywhere in the book. The Taking Pictures chapter should be replaced with details related to opening edits in raw as in previous element books like Kelby's.I am keeping the book mainly because I am too lazy to go thru returning it.

I had an older version of Photoshop and hadn't used it for several years, this book helped to bring me up to speed quickly. It is much better than the help in Photo Shop elements.

I began using Elements 5 decades ago and relied on the "Missing Manual" series books to introduce me to the newer editions. In lieu of 'the missing manual' for Elements 19, I purchased this book. It introduces Elements in a simplified form with lots of screen images and explanations. Approximately 40 pages are devoted to photography. What I miss are any in depth user tips, aka the missing manual. For those who purchased the program, there is a Photoshop Elements Reference book that can be downloaded from the website. But, at this moment, Elements 2019 for Dummies seems the best guide available, in book form.

There is a minimal amount of useful info in this book. DO NOT buy this book if you are looking for info on using this software to process RAW images. They openly say the info is not in here.

I was hoping that this would provide some assistance with with making a photo book. However, it doesn’t for this feature and many others.

I am an experienced photographer have used Adobe Photoshop 5 & 6 and Lightroom but I no longer want to buy these products because they are no longer available in standalone. I bought the book to thoroughly inform me of all the details of my recently purchased Photoshop Elements 2019. This book covers so very much. It's wonderful for someone new to photo editing but also it's a great refresher course for a seasoned photographer. I highly recommend it.

A story very much worth reading, a very unique take of a LitRPG story line. If one like science fiction or fantasies this book is a excellent blend of both, I would say the author has a active and creative imagination.

I'd say that the characters other than the MC could be fleshed out a bit more, they come across as one dimensional. This can not be said about the MC though, a complex creature that one is. Highly recommended

A refreshing take on Scifi litrpg, my only complaint is the amount of sleep lost reading through book 1 and 2. A brilliant series bringing something new to the genre.

Better than the first book (most of the backstory was taken care of already), this second book of the series stepped things up. Now I have to wait for book 3.

This is a great series, I really enjoyed it, and I really look forward to the next one. Interesting world building and good character development.

Am disappointed in this book, compared to the first. This one had a number of scenes where the protagonist committed violence, torture and murder, where it might not have been necessary.As another reviewer mentioned, there's a bit of "hand-wavium" happening in this book. All of these incredible feats performed by a mere 20 year-old. It broke my "suspension of disbelief" a couple of times.Am disappointed as I'd enjoyed Book 1 due to the problem-solving and character-building. Am really not sure if I'll buy the third book in this series, especially if this descent into darkness continues at this pace.

I take my boys rockhounding and we often end up in the Mojave Desert. This is a great resource for us.

This is a one-of-a-kind guidebook for the Mojave Desert area. It's invaluable for the detailed directions to local desert haunts that aren't in any other guidebooks. This is the place for a history lesson and some local hidden culture throughout Southern CA's Mojave. I used it to tour Randsburg, Johannesburg, and get directions to Burrow Schmidt's tunnel. I couldn't find any of these places in my other guidebooks.The book is obviously done in a vanity press, but that's forgiveable because there probably wasn't any other way to get this information out. For the price, you get a book chock-full of off beat places you aren't going to learn about unless you find a local historian to give you directions.It is supplemented with the authors' own photos of many attractions (in b&w), which is very helpful.

The book is full of facts, directions and common sense about the Mojave Desert. I have used it for over 10 years and have recommended the book to others here in the Antelope Valley. However, it is 13 years old so be aware that some of the information may have changed over the years. The basic directions are sound as are the location descriptions. A good book to have in the exploration vehicle.
